In Progress

In Progress _ Live exhibition

In Progress... is in search of the values within the process of architecture. Accumulating the uncommon moments, actions and ideas to find a common ground across the discussion of architecture.

In Progress... is asking the question, ‘What are the common values in the process of architectural design?’.

In Progress looks to discover these moments of architectural process in its raw state, showing the value in the labour, the craft, the care, the nurture, the respect and the rigour. The actions hidden to the eyes of most. By looking across the breadth of architectural exploration, we want to open a discussion to the common ground values that the process unearths.

In Progress opens the box of secrets in the architectural profession and offers a discussion with everybody: from neighbours to strangers, from the undecided to the established. Architects must open the dialogue, involve everybody, group collectively and communicate continuously. To find the value of an architect, our question is to be asked to all. Architecture has dependency with everybody.

In Progress... is a live exhibition where we are able to explore, hypothesise and create a dialogue amongst a large collection of in progress work, from sketches to models and film. The body of work is a collaboration of over 30 architectural designers and will be explored through workshops and discussions to explore the values within the design process.

Live exhibition talk dates to be announced soon.
In Progress is hosted by RARE.

RARE is a collection of architectural designers starting a conversation. With the world around us defining that which is normal, a new crowd is to be formed that does not take this normal for granted. RARE looks to find the things in life which we call valuable.

RARE looks to find those things which we call RARE.
